About the 4th
National HIPAA Summit West
The Fourth HIPAA Summit West, Healthcare Privacy and Security after
HITECH and Health Reform, will be held October 4 -6, 2010 at the Grand Hyatt
Hotel, in San Francisco, CA.
The Summit will be co-located with the National Regional Extension
Centers (REC) and Health Information Exchange (HIE) Summit West,and the
EHR Acquisition Implementation and Operations Summit.
Access attendees from 3 conferences with a shared exhibit hall. All
conference breakfasts, networking luncheons, receptions and breaks will
be held in the exhibit hall.
The HIPAA Summit will provide the most up-to-date information on the
status and schedule for the regulations. This Summit will focus on
privacy and security with only a brief discussion of the transaction
and code set changes to come. It will also include training sessions
for HIPAA privacy and security professionals who wish to apply for
certification.
