DES MOINES, IA – Software and Information Technology of Iowa (SITI) announced today the addition of eight new board members to its existing board of directors.
The new directors serving two-year terms are: Bill Scales, Principal Financial Group, Des Moines; Michael Curry, ecfirst.com, Clive; Marty Cutter, Rockwell Collins, Cedar Rapids; Tom Agnitsch, ANE Technology Services, Johnston; Steve Carter, ISU Research Park and ISU Pappajohn Center, Ames; Anthony Lyman, Red 5 Interactive & Red 5 Express, Des Moines; Dino Lack, Aura Consulting, Clive; and Arvind Dandekar, Fastek International LTD, Cedar Rapids.
According to Miriam Ubben, President, SITI, “Our board consists of twenty-four top executives representing Iowa’s technology community. This year the organization will focus on promoting member’s services and products to buyers of technology, increasing exposure within the legislative and executive branches of state government, providing assistance to emerging companies and delivering training and educational forums with the goal of strengthening the industry.” Iowa’s software and IT community boasts over 2,200 companies that employ over 43,000 workers and contribute $1.7 billion in annual wages to Iowa’s economy.
